Stories

The people behind the numbers

Anjali, class 8

Two years ago she was about to leave school — her father had lost his work. After fee support and evening classes, she is now top of her class in mathematics.

The Dabua Colony eye camp

A single day's camp saw 214 people. Sixty-eight received glasses, and nine cataract cases were taken to a government hospital. All nine have since been operated on.

Next quarter

Next target: three more neighbourhoods

That needs one more kitchen route, two months of camps, and places for 40 more children. You can move it forward.
